Our goal in the development of FaithWeaver NOW is to see changed lives as we help people know, love, and follow Jesus. We do that by concentrating on the essentials of the Christian faith and helping people understand and apply the Bible’s principles. When we cover elements of the faith on which people disagree, we give the teacher the opportunity to present your church’s position.

Teaching the Bible doesn’t mean much if it isn’t making an impact in people’s lives. So we’ve done years of research to determine what makes effective learning take place. We’ve discovered that when people are physically and emotionally involved in the learning process, they learn and retain more.

We’ve also discovered that Jesus used those same principles as he involved his disciples in learning experiences and interactive discussions. And he also used teaching methods that people with different learning styles could relate to. So we developed FaithWeaver NOW around those principles.

The downloadable files are provided in Adobe PDF and Microsoft Word format. The Word docs are completely editable, so you can customize the lessons to meet the unique needs of your church.

Yes, each Student Book (ages Preschool through Middle School) includes an age-appropriate 4-color take-home page that reinforces the weekly lesson. Infants, Toddlers & 2s, Senior High, and Adult include a reproducible take-home page each week, included in the Teacher Guide. In addition, there’s a free weekly FamilyConnect page you can print or email to every family with simple discussion starters to equip parents to lead family faith conversations at home.

Lesson materials reference the New International Version of the Bible (1984). We have the book, chapter, and verse listed whenever we quote Scripture so you could read it from another version if you choose.

Each Teacher Pack (for Infants through 6th Grade) includes an audio CD with music, sound effects, and audio dramas used with each lesson. For churches wishing to add a sing-along music video component, we offer a quarterly FaithWeaver Worship DVD (sold separately).

KidsOwn Worship is a Children’s Church program (sold separately) that can be used together with FaithWeaver or by itself as a 2nd hour, evening, or midweek church service for kids. The same Bible passage is used in both programs each week, but lesson content is not duplicated so kids can dig deeper and more fully experience God’s Word in new and exciting ways.
