Overview
By Josh Packard, Ph.D.
The reality of the exodus from church is bigger than you feared... and starting much closer to home. That's what sociologist and author Josh Packard has confirmed in his just-released report, Exodus of the Religious Dones. Packard's research confirms not only how many people have walked away from the church already, but how many are lined up to leave—and why.
This groundbreaking study complements Packard's best-selling Church Refugees, rounding out Packard's in-depth profile of Religious Dones.
Church leaders will discover the true scope of the challenge facing local churches—and the specific concerns prompting an ongoing exodus. With this information in hand, church leaders will know how to best slow the steady stream of church members inching toward the back door, and be equipped to better meet the needs of their congregations.
