In each SNAP book club download you'll find a short summary of the plot of the book, a recipe for a food that ties to a theme or character from the book, ideas for decorations or other additions, plus discussion questions and Scriptures that relate to the story. This is not a download of the book. How Green Was My Valley, by Richard Llewellyn, starts at the end as the narrator, Huw Morgan, prepares to leave home forever. The story unfolds as Huw reminisces on growing up in a Welsh coal mining region, and issues including the vigilante justice, thwarted love, industrialization and how it affects the life of everyone. Tempered with family loyalties, first loves and wonderful friendships, this story will take you on a journey through Huw's world.
